At a time in which architecture has been trapped into the obligation of producing -and documenting- the complexity and infinite creativity of the cities, the intention of this research, conversely, is to understand the architectural system par excellence: Classicism, within the construction of the Roman city; as the recuperation of a project for the city that considers a mass produced system of architecture, towards the reinvention of its relationship with the current economy.

Ten studied topics are coupled according to their architectural, technological, urban, political and social connotations, respectively; defining that Classical system of architecture in its multidisciplinary context.
