Whirlpool of Peckham
There are many problems in Peckham, yet there is a movement called we love Peckhem, with those thoughts, I started analyzing Peckham square.
the location of a new pavilion.
I found out that there are various movements taking place on peckham square For example, the square is used by residents to get from point A to point B or the residents are coming to the square to use the facilities such as libraries ect. Or they are gathering in the square to meet each other. In short, a place where residents are moving along each other.
I want to organize the movements and bring them together at one point ( pavilion) with the thought of bringing people together resulting in finding solutions. There’s a saying in Dutch:(Twee ogen zien meer dan een), which exactly says:two eyes see more than one, if you take a look at the problem with others you’ll rather find more and better solutions.
Beside this I will use also art as communication medium for people so exhibition space plays an important role in my pavilion.
