Lecture Kim Courrèges and Felipe De Ferrari (Plan Común)
vrijdag 4 oktober, 17:00On October 4, the Rotterdam Academy of Architecture hosts Kim Courrèges and Felipe De Ferrari of Plan Común for our second public autumn lecture. Plan Común was founded in 2012 in Chile and has been based in Paris, France, since 2018. The office provides strategies to maximize and reinforce public and collective space.
They are convinced that radical, basic, and even silent forms are more likely to be relevant and universal, and support collective use and imagination. Plan Común uses a critical and strategic approach towards briefs and commissions to question and transform spatial hierarchy and uses. They intend to work within the ethic of the collective, aiming at relevance and usefulness for the many.
